MAIN SURGERY
Burbage Surgery is a group practice with premises situated in
Tilton Road. It is purpose built with ample parking space, suitable access for
wheelchairs and WC facilities for the disabled. There are presently 4 full time
partners and a Salaried GP each with their own consulting room and examination area. We also have
facilities for visiting Physiotherapist, district nurses, health visitors,
counsellor and a dispensary. Branch surgeries are held at Wolvey,
Sapcote and Sharnford. The Practice has been successful in acquiring the Investors in
People award and has met local GP Blueprint Quality Standards.

BRANCH SURGERIES
Wolvey surgery was formally located for many years in the
Village Hall in Wolvey.
However, in 2001 the Doctors felt that there was a need to provide a more
permanent establishment in Wolvey and opened the present premises in February
2002. The practice is able to mirror almost all of the services provided at the
main surgery. There is a computer link between Wolvey Surgery and Burbage
Surgery that allows the practice to work paperless and to access all
information held on the medical computer system. There is also a Dispensary at
Wolvey, Surgery from which we can provide medication for all Wolvey residents.

This is located in the Church Hall at Sapcote. The surgery is
operated on an open surgery basis and therefore no appointments are necessary.
The surgery times are: Tuesdays 12:00 pm.
Our Practice Nurse also holds a session at Sapcote once a month.

This is located in the Evergreen Hall at Sharnford. The surgery
is operated on all open surgery basis and therefore no appointments are
necessary.
The surgery times are: Tuesday 11.00 a.m.
The doctor will arrive at the given start time and leave when all the patients
have been seen. If you wish to have the result of a test or have your
medication delivered to either Sapcote or Sharnford, you must first contact the
reception and make clear your request so that relevant notes and/or medication
can be given to the doctor before he leaves the main surgery. During Bank
Holiday periods, branch surgeries are normally closed.
N.B. The doctor will make every effort to arrive at the Branch Surgery at the
stated time. However, sometimes delays are inevitable which may result in the
doctor arriving late. Please accept our apologies if this happen.
